Tuesday 10th December 2024
I visited Lodge Glennifer No. 1219 and witnessed an excellent Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree by Past Masters of the Lodge. All visitors were made most welcome.
Sunday 8th December 2024
I attended the P.G.L Christmas Carol Service at Blantyre Old Parish Church. An excellent service was conducted by Rev. Jim Murphy.

I attended Lodge Murdostoun Castle No. 1096 and witnessed R.W.M Elect Bro Mark Logan being Installed for the 2nd year running. All visitors were made most welcome and a great evening was had by all.

I attended Lodge Craigends No. 1042 and witnessed R.W.M. Elect Bro William Fleming being Installed for the 3rd time.

I attended New Monkland Montrose Lodge No. 88 and witnessed R.W.M Elect Bro. John Gray being Installed. All visitors were made most welcome.
Monday 25th November 2024
I headed a Deputation to Lodge Craigielea No. 1218, to confer an Exemplification of the Entered Apprentice Degree. The team made me so proud and the D.P.G.M of Renfrewshire East was in attendance. We were highly praised and made most welcome.

I visited Lodge Craigends No. 1042 and witnessed an Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree conferred by The Widow Sons. A Deputation of 23, was headed by R.W.M from Oban.

I attended Lodge Cadder Argyle No. 147 and witnessed R.W.M Elect Bro Jim Harvey being Installed. All visitors were made most welcome.

I was one of the 17 R.W.M who attended the Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph, Bothwell Road, Hamilton. PPGM Bill Perry PM 440, was also in attendance.

I visited Lodge Craigends No 1042 along with RWM and 2PMs of Lodge Craigielea No 1218. We witnessed a fine Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree by Lodge St Barchan No 156. I was asked to give the vote of thanks by RWM no 1042. A great night was had by all.

I headed a Deputation of 8 PMs and Office Bearers to Lodge Old Monkland St James No 177, to confer an Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree. We were made most welcome by RWM Bro Gordon Currie and a great night was had by all.

I took part in a Reigning Master’s Degree, where we conferred the Entered Apprentice Degree at St Marks Lodge No 102, Glasgow. I was supported by Walter Dunn PM on the visitation. The Lodge had an excellent turnout of PMs and Visitors, including P.G.L Members, headed by the P.G.M of Glasgow.

I headed a Deputation of 9 Past Masters and Brethren to Lodge Heatheryknowe No 1469, where we conferred an Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree. We were made most welcome and a great night was had by all.

I attended Lodge Craigielea No. 1218 Installation and witnessed Master Elect Stuart Parker, being Installed with his Office Bearers.
All visitors were made most welcome and it was a great night.

I visited Lodge Pollock No 772 and witnessed an excellent Master Masons Degree, conferred by the Past Masters and Office Bearers of the Lodge. There were many other visitors from other Lodges and Provincial Grand Lodge.
The RWM from Nurnberg, Germany headed a deputation of 9 Past Masters and Brethren.

I attended Lodge Craigielea No 1218 and witnessed an excellent Entered Apprentice Degree, conferred by the Past Maters and Office Bearers of the Lodge. RWM Bro Charles Gilmour of Lodge Pollock No 772 was also in attendance with visitors from Nurnberg, Germany.

I was invited to Lodge Scotia No 178 and accompanied by Bro Walter Dunn PM. I took part in the Reigning Masters Entered Apprentice Degree. The deputation was headed by RWM Bro Tommy Tracy of Lodge St Marks No 102.
Wednesday 4th September 2024
I headed a deputation of 17 Brethren to Lodge Robert King Stewart No 919, where we conferred a Mater Mason’s Degree. My deputation was enhanced by 5 members of Lodge Caldercruix St John No 1314.
Two of the Brethren were young Master Masons, one only having gone through his Master Masons Degree the night before. I was over the moon with our degree team on the evening.

I attended the 225th Anniversary of the Operative Lodge of Airdrie No 203 with Bro David Ross PM. It was an excellent day and Bro David Ross PM was one the supporting speakers at the top table.

I attended Lodge Blythewood No 817 Bowls competition at Charleston Bowling Club, Paisley. There was a great turnout from the Lodges of East Renfrewshire and a great day as had by all.

I attended the Ceremony of Amalgamation and Dedication of Lodge Sothern Cross No 1243 and The Glasgow Star Lodge No 219 to form The Glasgow Star and Southern Cross Lodge No 219. This was conferred by The Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow.
This was followed by the Installation of RWM and Office Bearers.

I visited Lodge St Andrew No 465 and witnessed a Reigning Master’s Degree. An Entered Apprentice Degree was conferred by the Masters from within and out with Glasgow. We were all looked after by RWM Bro James White of Lodge St Andrew No 465.

I visited The Glasgow Star and Sothern Cross Lodge No 219 and witnessed an excellent 1st Degree by the RWM Bro John Craig and Office Bearers of the Lodge. Visitors were made most welcome and a great night was had by all.

I attended the Provincial Grand Lodge Charity Barbeque which was held in Lodge St Thomas No 306. I was accompanied by Arthur Burns PM, Douglas Welsh PM and their wives.
It was held in the aid of CHAS and a great day was had by all.

I visited Lodge Griffin Gartcosh 1254. I was part of the deputation from Lodge Coltswood Glenboig 1067. The Degree team conferred an Exemplification of the Fellow Craft Degree.

I visited Lodge Craigielea 1218, were I witnessed a 1st Degree, conferred by Lodge Renfrew County Kilwinning 370.

I headed a deputation of 14 brethren to Lodge St Andrew 544 to confer a 1st Degree. I was very proud of the work carried out by our Degree team that evening.
Monday 11th March, 2024 – Senior Citizens Dinner.

We attended 1067 and on the evening witnessed an excellent MMM degree conferred by Operative Lodge of Airdrie 203

We attended Cambuslang Royal Arch, 114 for the Installation of PGL Office Bearers. Bro. Douglas Welsh (Senior Deacon). Bro. William Perry PPGM in attendance.
Thursday 29th Feb, 2024 – Eastmuir 1126 – Entered Apprentice Degree
On Thursday 29th February I headed a deputation to Lodge Eastmuir where we conferred an exemplification of the 1st or Entered Apprentice Degree. An excellent team throughout and on return of the mallet i was charged to return to my mother lodge with Fraternal Greetings.
Sunday 25th Feb, 2024 – Instruction Class Dinner
We enjoyed an excellent night at the hands of the instruction class where we traditionally mark the evening with a dinner to recognise the hard work our Instruction Class Masters put in over the course of every year, Bro. Douglas Welsh and Bro Arthur Burns were thanked in the usual manner
Friday 23rd Feb, 2024 – PGL Burns Supper
Along with PM D. Welsh we attended the PGL Burns Supper at Cambuslang Royal Arch 110. An excellent evening and speakers with intimations to return to the lodge with Fraternal Greetings.
