On Saturday 27th July 2024 our RWM Bro John Nesbitt and our WSW Bro Brian Bennie Snr were on hand to welcome the Brethren and friends of Lodge Eastmuir No 1126 to our Lodge for a “pit stop” as part of their annual sponsored walk.
The walk took the Brethren from their own Lodge to Lodge St Bryde No 579 and back via Lodge Robert Burns.
The Robert Burns Social Club Baillieston put on a buffet lunch for the walkers, who spent a pleasant hour or so taking on fluids!
The walkers were raising money to support the great work of the Language Support Centre within Caledonia Primary School in Baillieston.
After another couple of pit stops all the walkers returned safely to Eastmuir some 6 hours after their departure.
Well done to all those who took part raising several thousand pounds for a great cause.
